Day 1
– Begin your Sundarban tour from Kolkata. You will reach the island of Gosaba by boat on the morning of Day 1. From there, go to the cottage situated on the bank of Gomor river via auto rickshaw.
– Check in the cottage and enjoy the leisure-filled stay there. You can experience a peaceful time on the island.
– Enjoy the lunch in the afternoon followed by the village walking tour. Explore some of the best customs and traditions of the village people.
– Move to Sundarban Bird Jungle and enjoy beautiful sunset and bird Sanctuary. Later, you can experience some of the best folk dances of the local people. – Now, end your day 1 with dinner and an overnight stay in the cottage.
Day 2
– Enjoy the morning breakfast and be ready to visit the “Tidal Mangrove Forest”.
– Head to the Sunderban Jungle via Boat cruise to experience the best wildlife animals. You can explore some of the best crocodiles, wild boars, deers, lizards, kingfishers, and a plethora of birds. Do not get surprised if you get to experience the ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’.
– Next, you can move to watchtowers where you can experience the animals in their natural habitat. Experience some of the best watch towers known as Sajnekhali, Dobanki, and Sudhanyakhali.
– Enjoy the day in the Mangrove forest and experience the best of nature. Head out to the jungle in the evening and reach the final point of the Sundarban tour.
– Travel back to the preferred location at Kolkata to mark the end of your trip.
